Taking Responsibility - Ipsos Foundation Supporting Education in Pakistan

Nearly 39% of Pakistan’s population live in poverty with deprivation in education a major issue. One in ten of the world’s children who are not in school live in Pakistan. Half of all adults and two out of every three Pakistani women are illiterate. The READ Foundation is an educational not-for-profit organisation that seeks to provide quality science education to disadvantaged children in rural areas of Pakistan.
The Ipsos Foundation is therefore delighted to able to support the READ Foundation. This will help them provide a comprehensive suite of science laboratories (including science lab instruments, equipment and supplies) at 15 Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools and train 45 science teachers, benefitting 5,587 pupils.
