Taking Responsibility - Ipsos Foundation Warms Up a Nursery Class in Lebanon

Ipsos is committed to educational access through its Foundation to create social impact where it is located.

Ipsos is committed to educational access through its Foundation to create social impact where it is located. Its mission is to carry out educational programmes for underprivileged children and adolescents in the world.

Arcenciel is a Lebanese charitable project created during the Lebanese civil war to assist disabled persons. Its Youth Empowerment Program is aimed at helping disadvantaged children and youth to fulfil their emotional, social and psychological capabilities. Part of this is the provision of nursery and specialised classes where 50 children between the ages of 3 and 12 years (over half of whom are disabled) are cared for.

The nursery is in Taanayel where the winters are harsh and powerful heating systems are required to combat the extreme cold weather. The Ipsos Foundation will be funding a new heating and insulation system for the nursery, essential for the children whose disabilities make them particularly sensitive and intolerant of cold weather. In addition specialised educational and skills development equipment is needed and the Ipsos Foundation donation will also cover the purchase of the necessary equipment.
