Celine Dion Is Valentine's Day Favourite
Nearly a quarter of Britons will be choosing to listen to Celine Dion when they dim the lights for an intimate tete б tete this Valentine's Day, according to a survey conducted for Music Choice, the 44 channel audio music service available on SkyDigital.
Music really is the food of love and while Dion may be the dish of the day, Phil Collins and Frank Sinatra are both on the menu. Each achieved nine per cent of Britons' votes.
The only age group who didn't favour Dion are those aged 55+. They preferred Frank Sinatra who received twenty two per cent of the votes, while a further nineteen per cent opted for The Three Tenors.
Londoners also rejected Dion's delights. Love crooner Marvyn Gaye topped the polls instead with fifteen per cent of the votes, followed by Celine Dion with fourteen per cent and Frank Sinatra with eleven per cent.
Dion is one of the world's biggest selling artists. In the last three months she has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide, equivalent to one sale every 1.2 seconds.
Q From this list, please tell me whose music, if any, helps to get you in a romantic mood?

Stuart Graber, Chief Executive of Music Choice, said: "While I'm sure that most people have a special tune or artist that helps them get into a romantic mood its clear from the survey that female singers like Dion are more popular with both men and women."
