This document outlines the main findings of a representative residents' survey conducted by the Local Government team at the Ipsos Social Research Institute. The findings were presented by Ipsos Chief Executive Ben Page on Tuesday 9th April at Hackney Town Hall to senior managers and politicians.

Ben Page, Chief Executive of Ipsos said:

“Hackney Council has made sustained improvements over the last decade. It used to be a by-word for dismal services, but now ratings of Hackney as a place to live are well above the national average (89% satisfied) as are ratings of the Council (74% satisfied vs. 55%). This is a really impressive performance and the Mayor, councillors and staff at Hackney deserve real credit for what they have achieved.”
