Kelly Beaver, Chief Executive of Ipsos in the UK and Ireland, appointed MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list

The Queen's award was announced in her Birthday Honours List.

Chief Executive of Ipsos in the UK and Ireland, Kelly Beaver, has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to Academia, to Research and the COVID-19 response.

Working at Ipsos for over 10 years, Kelly has worked across a wide range of projects covering everything from Brexit, public policy, vaccines and most recently the REACT study, tracking COVID-19 prevalence across England and for the Royal Foundation on the importance of the Early Years.

Alongside her work with Ipsos, Kelly holds several honorary positions in academia and charities, including as a Fellow of the UK Academy for Social Sciences, a Board Member for the Campaign for Social Science and a Visiting Senior Research Fellow for King’s College London.

Speaking about the award, Kelly said:

It is overwhelming and humbling to receive this MBE, it’s an incredible honour which highlights the impact that the research industry can have on society, especially in response to the pandemic. I’d like to thank Her Majesty, the Queen for this honour, as well as everyone at Ipsos for their incredible commitment and hard work.
