Following a change in its remit, Learning and Teaching Scotland (LTS) commissioned Ipsos Scotland to undertake an independent review of all areas of its work with external stakeholders. The research was designed to explore the ways in which LTS' external stakeholders perceive the organisation and review the effectiveness of its current stakeholder engagement and communications strategy.
Technical details
There were three elements to the study: an exploratory stage with a focus on piloting question areas for the quantitative study; a quantitative telephone survey of 350 key stakeholders exploring the reputation of LTS; and an online survey of 150 student teachers to elicit their perceptions of LTS.
