National Student Survey Results Out Now

The National Student Survey (NSS) is celebrating its 20th anniversary, Ipsos continues to deliver the survey with outstanding response rates in excess of 70 per cent year on year, and 71.5 per cent this year. Over 357,000 UK-wide final year students have taken part in the NSS, and this highlights the critical role of student feedback in shaping the student experience journey.

Some 384 universities and colleges took part in the survey with the vast majority reaching the minimum publication 50 per cent response rate threshold – a testament to the survey's inclusivity and relevance.

Positive student feedback highlights improvements in teaching quality and the empowering effects of the student voice. The survey helps drive improvements in UK higher education.

The NSS remains unparalleled in scope, gathering invaluable student perspectives on areas crucial to academic excellence, including teaching quality, assessment and feedback.
