Police Federation of England and Wales: Policing Priorities

Police Federation: Policing Priorities - Topline Findings

Our research undertaken on behalf of the Police Federation of England and Wales shows that the British public would be worried if the police stopped providing the current range of services due to budget cuts.

At the end of 2010 the Police Federation commissioned Ipsos to conduct research with the general public.  Findings are based on 1,141 completed interviews conducted face-to-face in peoples’ homes using the Ipsos omnibus survey.  Interviews were conducted between 7-13 January 2011 with a representative sample of adults aged 15 and over across England and Wales. Data is weighted to reflect the known population.
