Research by Ipsos reveals that around six in ten (61%) of the British public lack confidence in the ability of international leaders to address the problem of climate change.

Aviation Poll
A survey by Ipsos shows that about half the public believe airport capacity should remain at about the same levels as present and a further 19% say it should be reduced, even if this means the cost of flying increases. A similar proportion believe capacity should be increased (18%) even if this means building new runways.

Support For Replacement Nuclear Newbuild Up Again Among MPs
Ipsos's Summer MPs survey shows a further increase in overall support for the building of replacement nuclear power stations in Britain. Support is up 11 points to 72%, while opposition is up one point to 23%. This is the second year running of rapid growth in support, last year it increased by 16 points. Three-quarters of Labour MPs (75%) now support newbuild, while 21% oppose it.

Staff Advocacy, Customer Service And Political Involvement In The NHS
The general public overwhelmingly agree that 'the NHS is a key part of British society and should be protected' (96%), with three-quarters (77%) agreeing strongly with this. Strength of feeling is stronger amongst older respondents — those aged 35+ are more likely to agree strongly with this statement and nearly all (98%) of those aged 65+ agree that the NHS is a key part of British society and should be protected.
