Who do Scots trust to provide information on coronavirus?

Ipsos polling for the Scottish Government has explored people’s level of trust in different organisations to provide information about the virus, as well as how seriously the public take the threat posed by the crisis. The findings also look at the perceived financial impact of the crisis on people in Scotland.

Technical Note

Data collected online by Ipsos as part of a multi-country survey on the Global Advisor platform. Each wave included c.650 respondents in Scotland. The sample is broadly representative of the adult population aged 16-74. Data is weighted to reflect the age and gender profile of the Scottish population aged 16-74. All samples have a margin of error around them. For a sample of around 500, this is +/- 4.8 percentage points.
