Ahead of World Refugee Day, Ipsos is announcing a pledge to recruit 100 refugees across the world over the next three years.

In the past year, just under half say the level of crime in their neighborhood stayed the same, while few say crime has decreased.

Inflation has now been the top global concern in our What Worries the World survey for the last 12 months.

This Ipsos analysis for Les Entretiens de New York reveals a small minority in the US and France considers violence a viable means to achieve political goals. Support for democracy remains strong overall – but scepticism towards politicians, the continued spread of fake news and “filter bubbles”, as well as a certain distrust of facts and science, all help to weaken support for the way our democratic systems operate today.

As 2023 opens, we’re entering a new world disorder filled with crises on multiple fronts. The largest Global Trends survey ever, from leading insights firm Ipsos, shows that, globally, 74% agree that their government and public services will do too little to help people in the years ahead.
