COVID-19 Trends – Majority of Britons remain concerned about the risk of COVID-19 to themselves and the country
The latest update shows concern about coronavirus is staying stable
New trend data from Ipsos finds that 71% of Britons remain concerned about the risk of COVID-19 to them personally, which is just one percentage point lower than it was at the end of June. Concern for the country as a whole also remains stable, down just three percentage points from 90% to 87% since the end of June.
There has been a drop in the number of people saying they are very concerned about the risk to the country as a whole – at the end of June half of people (50%) were very concerned about the risk to the country as whole, this has now dropped to 42%. However, concern overall remains high.
