EV Transition Tracker: Wave 2

The EV Transition Tracker has been established by Motability Operations to monitor developments in the UK car market's journey to electric vehicles. It is built on a representative sample of the UK public and supplemented by polling of the Motability Scheme's customers.

This page holds the data tables for the second wave of the UK public survey and the Motability Scheme customer survey. For this second wave Ipsos UK interviewed a representative sample of 2,243 online UK adults aged 18-75, with polling conducted between 8 and 12 August 2025. Data is weighted to match the profile of the population. Ipsos UK also interviewed a sample of 1,495 Motability UK customers aged 18+ between 6th and 17th August 2025.
