The future of library services in the UK and Ireland
The Carnegie UK Trust commissioned Ipsos to undertake a programme of research examining public use of, and attitudes towards, libraries in the each of the constituent territories in the UK and in the Republic of Ireland. The study comprised two elements:
- secondary analysis of existing large-scale datasets in each territory
- placing a set of questions in omnibus surveys in each territory to obtain robust data
Based on the findings from the research, the Trust has published:
