Ipsos Scotland was commissioned by Glasgow City Council to conduct a series of eight large scale resident's surveys in twice yearly waves. Each survey doubles as a recruitment exercise for the Glasgow Citizens Panel.

Ipsos Scotland was commissioned by Glasgow City Council to conduct a series of eight large scale resident's surveys in twice yearly waves. Each survey doubles as a recruitment exercise for the Glasgow Citizens Panel. The sixth survey in the series was completed in April 2006 and covered a range of topics including community engagement and citizenship, usage of and satisfaction with Council services, neighbourhood problems and customer service.

Technical details

Ipsos interviewed a representative quota sample of 1,011 residents, aged 16+ across the Glasgow City Council area. The survey also included 'booster' interviews among 204 members of Glasgow's Black and Minority Ethnic population. All interviews were conducted face-to-face in respondents' homes between 12th March and 25th April 2006.
