The Global Indian Pulse

Launched at World Expo in November, Ipsos's new report with HSBC takes a closer look at the behaviours and attitudes of Global Indians, the world's largest diaspora.

HSBC commissioned Ipsos to explore the lives and experiences of overseas  Indians, understanding how they feel about their heritage, their connection to India, and how the pandemic has impacted them. Our report also captures their investment habits, attitudes to sustainability and plans for the future.

The Global Indian Pulse is based on interviews with over 4,150 global Indians in nine different markets, making this one of the largest studies focusing on this audience.

We worked closely with some of the world's leading academics and experts Professor Bridget Anderson, Dr. Omkar Goswami, Professor Ruben Gowricharn, Professor Jaideep Prabhu and Professor Nirvikar Singh to create the report.

Our report summarises the findings of this research.
