Survey of Highlands and Islands Enterprise Staff, conducted in 2012 by Ipsos
Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) commissioned Ipsos Scotland to conduct an employee survey exploring the views of all staff on a wide range of factors including job satisfaction, confidence, clarity of organisational direction, organisational unity, working practices, business improvement, efficiency savings, communications and equalities in the public sector. The overriding objective was to engage staff in improving delivery of the enterprise body’s key purpose and priorities.
Analysis included putting results in the context of the views of all working people across the UK and staff in other public sector organisations.
To help identify best steps and to support the roles of different departments across the organisation, Ipsos produced over 70 department, location and demographics PowerPoint reports
Technical details 92% of staff responded to the survey, which was conducted online, between 23rd May and 15th June 2012
