Ipsos appoints new Managing Director of Marketing
Ipsos today announces the appointment of Jim Needell as Managing Director, Marketing.
In the role he will lead the 200 strong Marketing team at Ipsos, which helps marketers understand their markets, innovate and build their brand portfolio and maximise sales to get the best return on their investments.
Jim joins from Kantar Health where he was Managing Director, having moved from sister company Kantar Worldpanel in 2011. He has 20 years’ experience working with marketing professionals across sectors spanning durables, FCMG and healthcare. Having previously worked at GfK, TNS and Kantar, both in the UK and abroad,
Jim has developed a wide breadth of marketing insights knowledge across syndicated, Panel and ad-hoc services.
During his time at Kantar Health, Jim was a catalyst in the turnaround in fortunes of the business, leading to industry awards for the team in 2014/15 for innovative deliverables, quality of client work and for excellence in staff engagement.
