A Pensions System Fit For the 21st Century: The stories behind pension gaps

In a screening of a new short film, the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and Ipsos bring to life the issues and potential fixes, told by real pensions savers who’ve faced gaps or barriers.

Join us for the first public screening of our research on the 16 September. This will be a great opportunity to get to know more about the lived experience of pensions gaps.

Hear expert commentary from the IFoA’s Alexandra Miles, Ipsos’ Lucy Neiland, and from our illustrious panel:

  • Torsten Bell MP, Parliamentary Secretary and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Minister for Pensions)
  • Hayley James, Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Personal Financial Wellbeing at Aston Business School and author of 'Pension Saving in a Gendered Lifecourse'
  • Professor Matt Padley, Co-Director of the Centre for Research in Social Policy, Loughborough University
