Technical Note
At the end of 2010 the Police Federation commissioned Ipsos to conduct research with the general public. Findings are based on 1,141 completed interviews conducted face-to-face in peoples’ homes using the Ipsos omnibus survey. Interviews were conducted between 7-13 January 2011 with a representative sample of adults aged 15 and over across England and Wales. Data is weighted to reflect the known population.
Where results do not sum to 100, this may be due to computer rounding, multiple responses or the exclusion of don't know/not stated.
An asterisk (*) indicates a percentage of less than 0.5% but greater than zero.
