Political Attitudes in Great Britain, August 1996

MORI Political Monitor survey for The Times, including extra questions comparing the parties and on preferred election outcome

MORI interviewed a representative quota sample of 1,708 adults aged 18+ at 145 sampling points across Great Britain. Fieldwork was conducted face-to-face on 20-25 August 1996, as part of MORI's regular Omnibus survey. The sample was divided into two demographically-matched sections of 892 and 816 rrespondents and, as shown below, some questions were only asked to one section of the sample. Data are weighted to match the profile of the population.
