Ipsos’ latest Political Monitor is now released, with fieldwork carried out 9-15 April 2026. This means fieldwork was conducted before recent announcements about Peter Mandelson failing his security vetting.
The SNP have extended their lead over Labour and Reform UK according to the latest Ipsos Scottish Political Monitor, taken in the first week of the Holyrood election campaigns (26-31 March) and conducted in partnership with STV News.
Reform UK still hold a clear lead over Labour. This lead is 7 points today – one point down from January and 8 points down from their 15-point lead in November
Net likeability ratings for the Labour leader now equal Jeremy Corbyn’s previous low, while the party is less liked than any time in Ipsos trends going back to 2007. However, the party is still more liked than its leader – and more than the other parties.
Reform UK maintain clear lead as Labour vote share falls to match the lowest ever recorded by Ipsos for the party in May 2009, after the expenses scandal and during the economic crisis (Ipsos first started recording vote intentions in 1976).
