SEWeb LIFE+ Partnership: Exploring public priorities for Scotland's environment
Following on from previous qualitative research on public attitudes towards the environment and perceptions of Scotland’s Environment website (SEWeb), the SEWeb LIFE+ Partnership commissioned Ipsos Scotland to conduct research on the public’s priorities for Scotland’s environment. The research involved a series of deliberative workshops and an online discussion among members of the public.
The objectives of the research were to: explore the public’s views in a deliberative setting on the key issues for Scotland’s environment and local environments, specifically: why they hold the views they do; whether views change as a result of additional information; and attitudes towards specific government, business and individual actions to tackle the key issues.
