As President Obama visits the United Kingdom, a new poll from Ipsos reveals that although Americans are slightly more likely than Britons to believe the `special relationship' currently exists, a majority of both populations feel `Brexit' would make little difference to the connection between the two countries.
New Ipsos polling shows the British public are split on US President Barack Obama expressing his view on whether or not Britain should stay in the European Union. Half (49%) think that President Obama should express his view while 46% say that he should not.
With just two months to go until Britain decides whether it will remain a member of the European Union or leave, Ipsos's latest Political Monitor reveals the economy and immigration to be the most important issues for the public when deciding how to vote.
One week following George Osborne's budget announcement, Ipsos's new Political Monitor shows the Chancellor's satisfaction ratings have fallen compared to last month.
