The acronym “AAPI” was coined to widely represent Asian heritage. Although this term was devised to be more inclusive, it still doesn’t fully capture the many experiences and identities that exist within the Asian community. This conversation will explore how the Asian experience varies from nationality and appearances to cultural barriers and differences, and how we can embrace AAPI people from every perspective.
