Ipsos Makes a Smart Investment in its Financial Services Team
Thomas Gallagher Joins Ipsos Loyalty's Financial Services Team
"The financial services sector can be complex and challenging to comprehend, and just as difficult is gaining a full understanding of what consumers expect from their providers. But with Thomas Gallagher's extensive experience and knowledge in understanding consumer behavior, we believe that Ipsos Loyalty will be better positioned to help our financial service clients gain deeper insights into what makes their consumers tick," says Jeff Repace, Senior Vice President with Ipsos Loyalty's U.S. Financial Services team.
Prior to Ipsos, Gallagher was President and Co-Founder of Gallagher-Lee Research, a consulting business specializing in brand tracking, brand equity, and other strategic research applications. In a decade's long consulting practice, Gallagher worked on research projects for a number of major clients, including Procter & Gamble, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Quaker, Pepsico, Home Depot, MasterCard, Viacom, and Virgin Mobile.
Prior to that, Gallagher was Executive Vice President with NFO Worldwide (formerly Ross-Cooper-Lund), responsible for advertising and brand tracking systems, and was Vice President with Simmons Market Research Bureau.
"Being the third largest research company in the world means that Ipsos has global capabilities that are virtually unsurpassed, but what is truly attractive about this company is that it isn't the size that is the focus, it is the client and their need to better understand their consumers," says Gallagher of his new role. "I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead and working with an exceptional team of top notch researchers."
Thomas Gallagher is a graduate of Lehigh University with a B.S. in Marketing and General Management. He will be based in Ipsos' office in Parsippany, NJ.
