Today, Ipsos, the global research firm, announced a new partnership with Forbes Advisor, a global platform that arms consumers with personal finance advice, news, and reviews, to launch the Ipsos-Forbes Advisor U.S. Consumer Confidence Weekly Tracker.

New York, NY, October 29, 2020 — Today, Ipsos, the global research firm, announced a new partnership with Forbes Advisor, a global platform that arms consumers with personal finance advice, news, and reviews, to launch the Ipsos-Forbes Advisor U.S. Consumer Confidence Weekly Tracker. Under the new partnership, Forbes Advisor will have exclusive advance access to Ipsos U.S. Consumer Confidence weekly data, allowing its readers to have up-to-date insights to make informed financial choices. The tracker includes an overall consumer confidence index based on respondents’ responses to detailed questions, as well as sub-indices measuring confidence in the current economy, expectations, investments, and jobs.

“Forbes Advisor was a natural fit for this partnership. We think information should be understandable by as many people as possible, and Forbes Advisor offers well-sourced, unbiased opinions in a way that’s accessible to the average reader,” said Clifford Young, President of Ipsos Public Affairs, U.S. “Ipsos’ survey-based data on Americans’ economic sentiment has been a mainstay of financial journalism and expertise for nearly two decades—this was the natural next step in its evolution. We’re excited that, thanks to Forbes Advisor, many more Americans will be exposed to Ipsos’s economic indicators to inform their financial decisions.”

Ipsos has been tracking U.S. consumer confidence monthly since 2002 and weekly since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March. The Ipsos-Forbes Advisor U.S. Consumer Confidence Weekly Tracker provides consistent benchmarks on consumer attitudes, gauging opinions on market expectations, investments, and employment, and helping investors, consumers, and businesses alike plan for the future.

“We are proud to partner with Ipsos. At Forbes Advisor, it is our goal to help make smart financial decisions simple for consumers, and by understanding the changes in consumer sentiment on a rolling basis, we can further that mission with timely, actionable advice to our readers,” said Katie Doyle, Vice President of Content at Forbes Advisor.
