Ipsos receives top honors for mystery shopping program

MSPA Americas Shoppers’ Choice Awards Winners Announced.

January 27, 2021 — Ipsos is pleased to announce it is one of the winners of the 2020 MSPA Americas Shoppers’ Choice Awards, an honor that highlights Ipsos’ excellent relationships with MSPA Americas’ independent contractors.

It is the second time Ipsos has been recognized by MSPA Americas, a trade organization made up of mystery shopping companies.

MSPA Americas first launched the Shopper’s Choice Awards in 2015 to celebrate companies that independent contractors most enjoy working with on projects. Ipsos competed in a crowded field for the award.

"We are thrilled to have received this award two years in a row,” said Carey Medina, Senior Vice President of Mystery Shopping Operations, U.S. Channel Performance. “It's certainly been a busy year for us – with our acquisition of the MaritzCX Mystery Shopping Business and of course the global pandemic that promoted the launch of our iShopSafe initiative.”

As the first mystery shopping provider to launch a large-scale shopper safety initiative in April, Ipsos was able to quickly and safely get mystery shoppers back to work amid the coronavirus pandemic and its effects on retail. The iShopSafe program educates shoppers on the latest safety information from the CDC and certifies shoppers' understanding in a quiz.

Many of Ipsos' programs – including all revealed audit programs and our Consumer Health & Safety Index mystery shops – require the iShopSafe certification.

“We are honored that our shoppers have stuck with us through it all and continue to view Ipsos as a premier provider of high-quality mystery shopping opportunities around the globe."
