XP Health Ipsos Survey
A recent survey for XP Health, with data collection by Ipsos, shows that a majority of employees and employers are familiar with digital health platforms and believe that their experience with healthcare benefits could be improved by offering a similar experience to major digital platforms. By aligning digital health experiences with traditional consumer interactions, it may address many of the unmet needs in employee benefit access and help fuel a desire to utilize these solutions, paving the way for better benefits access.
About the Study
This quantitative study was conducted by Ipsos in partnership with XP Health and interviewed 710 respondents – 510 employees and 200 employers – to understand employees’ and employers’ drivers and barriers to digital platform usage, the impact of consumer digital platforms on the expectations employees have of their employer-sponsored benefits, and opinions, preferences, and usage of healthcare benefits. This 20-minute online survey for employees and 10-minute online survey for employers was fielded between April 11th, 2024, and May 1st, 2024. This survey screened (1) employees specifically identifying as non-managerial employees with employer-sponsored healthcare benefits; and (2) employers specifically identifying as managers, directors, or executives working in human resources/administration with direct responsibility for employees’ healthcare benefits. No post-hoc weights were applied to this study and the findings reflect the opinion of these respondents only.
