10.05 Open banking & Seizing the moment

Open Banking is going to be one of the most important changes to affect the financial services sector in the next few years. The smooth exchange of customer data will allow established providers to offer new and innovative services and new entrants, smaller players and non-traditional providers will find it easier to create new tools and products. Additionally, consumers will have greater control over their data and how it can be used to benefit them. However, there are commercial and technological risks too.

This session will examine how different organisations are responding to Open Banking and PSD2, and the opportunities and challenges they present.
