How do we give patients the best care possible to promote the best health possible? Thought leaders, hospital administrators, and providers will come together in this symposium to talk about how they have transformed healthcare for the good of the patient. They will offer practical, data-driven advice on the most effective strategies to improve the patient experience.
Our panel will describe the use of big data, analytics, and traditional measures to fully capture the patient experience. They will discuss best practices for turning data into action and designing effective improvement initiatives based on the data. Hospital administrators will describe the lessons they have learned when implementing new practices and programs, including what works (and what doesn’t). Providers will offer insights about what patient experience means to them and their own process for improving clinical encounters. Finally, patient advocates will discuss how patients have experienced the changes at facilities that have implemented initiatives and how this goes beyond time spent in the hospital.
