Equal Measures 2030 Global Advocates survey launch
The survey went live in English on the 8th March to mark International Women’s Day, and will follow in Spanish, French, Hindi and Indonesian. It will remain open until the end of April, and is open to anyone who has taken action on gender equality in the last three years.
Ipsos has worked with EM2030 before on a report on policymakers in Colombia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, and Senegal. The results revealed that the majority of policymakers felt positive regarding progression of gender equality in their country, but perceptions and estimations of the scale of challenges faced by women and girls were often uncertain and inaccurate.

By gathering the perspectives and experiences of policymakers, and gender equality advocates more generally, the global advocates survey will give EM2030 a greater understanding of where change needs to take place to stay on track to reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for girls and women by 2030. This will inform EM2030 and its partners’ design and work. It will also further build our knowledge of policymakers’ perceptions and understanding on gender equality and related issues, enabling EM2030 to track progress.
