The research, published in The Shell Springboard Report, asks small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for their views on the business opportunity of products and services which help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

    The latest MORI survey for the GLA shows Londoners support the way the police responded to the attacks of July 7th. Three-quarters (77%) say they are satisfied with the way the Met Police responded to the attacks and 15% say they are dissatisfied. The survey also shows that two-thirds (65%) are noticing an increased police presence after the attacks and half (49%) say higher visibility policing makes them feel safer.

    Latest research by MORI, on behalf of Garden Organic (previously HDRA), shows that there is huge potential to encourage the use of organic methods among British garden owners. Almost half (48%) of British garden owners still use weed killers in their gardens. In addition, two-fifths do not feed their soil with garden compost which is vital for maintaining its fertility, and another third (32%) do not actively encourage wildlife into their gardens.

    Personal Injury Lawyers

    Latest research by MORI shows that more than half (55%) the British public would be confident in knowing who to contact in pursuing a compensation claim if they had been injured. Two in five (41%) would prefer an accredited, independent personal injury lawyer to deal with their claim. Only 13 per cent would prefer to deal with a claims handling company. Of those who would prefer to use a personal injury lawyer, a third (33%) find one by asking friends or family, with telephone directories (30%) also a popular source of information.

The survey aimed to inform the advice and help given to people, should this happens again. The results of the survey were analysed and reported in the British Medical Journal in August 2005.
