Immigration remains Britain’s biggest issue as concern about climate change and the environment rises

The August 2026 Ipsos Issues Index shows that immigration continues to be seen as the biggest issue facing Britain. Forty-two per cent of Britons name immigration as an important issue facing the country, relatively unchanged since last month.
