Welsh Assembly Government Stakeholder Survey 2010
Ipsos was commissioned to undertake the 2010 Welsh Assembly Government Stakeholder Survey, building on previous stakeholder surveys conducted in 2006 and 2008.160
The overall aim of the 2010 survey was to assess the performance of the Welsh Assembly Government's Director General areas and departments as a whole with regard to stakeholder engagement.160 The survey was also designed to provide an evidence base to develop how the Welsh Assembly Government works with and involves stakeholders and to provide data comparable with the 2006 and 2008 findings.
Technical details A mixed-methods approach was adopted for the 2010 stakeholder survey. This comprised: 10 scoping interviews to inform questionnaire design; a mixed mode (telephone and online) quantitative survey; and 25 follow-up in-depth interviews to explore particular issues around stakeholder engagement that emerged in the survey. A total of 1,228 stakeholders took part in the quantitative survey between 18 February and 11 March 2010.
