Parents’ Perspective on Back-to-School Shopping

In our latest Thought Starter, we examine how parents are planning to prepare their children for the school year ahead.

According to our most recent Ipsos U.S. Omnibus survey, 25% of parents with school-aged children had already purchased some back-to-school items by mid-June. Most parents (67%) say they will go shopping in the weeks prior to school starting (i.e. now!), and 46% do consider their child’s brand preferences when making their purchases.

How do purchase behaviors change with parents of high-school or college aged children? Read our Thought Starter for more from this survey.
