Public Perspectives: 42% of Americans Satisfied with Country Direction

Looking back over the past five years, American satisfaction has made significant strides as the economy continues to improve. In December 2010, 24% of Americans stated they were satisfied with the direction of the country. Five years and 18 percentage points later, 42% of Americans say they are satisfied with the way things are going in the United States.
