Another positive signal in the consumer economy
The Ipsos Consumer Tracker, fielded on Ipsos' Omnibus platform, asks Americans questions about culture, the economy and the forces that shape our lives. Here's one thing we learned this week.

Why we asked: As gas prices come down (for a moment?) and economic news continues to be… confusing? Thought it was a good time to check back in on this battery of questions about in-store shopping experiences.
What we found: While most of the measures in this battery were flat, perhaps the most important and positive one rose 6 points. Now, three in ten say they are seeing lower prices compared to earlier this year, up from just one in four in April. Despite the potential youth mall boost, a sizable majority still think they can get better discounts buying online vs. in-store. And buy-now-pay-later continues to be a popular option for purchase intent.
