Conducting usability testing is crucial to inform product improvements based on observed behaviors. We outline and conduct a detailed research plan for both formative and summative (validation) testing. Our data-driven process tests users early and often to understand their needs through research.

Launch

Medical Human Factors and User Experience

The Ipsos Medical Human Factors and User Experience group is a team of experts specializing in the medical devices and healthcare space. The team is ISO 9001:2015 certified, and has a deep understanding of the international, federal, and local regulations related to medical device development.

Our services cover the full range of the product development lifecycle, including early-stage research and insights to inform the engineering team, through summative usability testing and post-market analysis. We excel at keeping users close to the creative process and replicating realistic usage environments, both in-person and remote, to evaluate concepts as they evolve.

Our medical group has a wide range of experience with patient focused products (e.g., injection devices, diabetes equipment, connected health) as well as healthcare provider and hospital environment products (e.g., surgical environments and hospital equipment).
