Ipsos Names Jorge Alagón as BHT Chief Innovation Officer
Ipsos has appointed former Kantar senior executive Jorge Alagón as Chief Innovation Officer of Ipsos BHT (Brand Health Tracking) reporting to Benoit Tranzer, Global Service Line Leader BHT.
Jorge has played a senior role in developing and scaling major global brand equity measurement frameworks and related analytics used in brand valuation and growth advisory. He has led teams of data scientists and brand equity experts across multiple markets, driving the development and commercialization of scalable AI/ML analytics and GenAI solutions for predictive modelling, time-series analysis, data integration and insight automation. He has also helped expand the use of search, social and GenAI-generated signals to understand how brands appear, are described and are recommended across emerging digital environments.
Passionate about innovation, statistics and marketing, Alagón has lectured at leading universities across Latin America. An avid reader, he has a particular interest in scientific research and marketing literature.
At Ipsos, Alagón will lead the BHT Innovation strategy at a crucial moment in Ipsos’ development.
As the group enters a pivotal phase in its evolution and helps shape the future of the industry, he will lead the next generation of Brand Health Tracking innovation, harnessing new technologies and advanced analytics. He will also oversee our global BHT innovation and support team, driving excellence across all markets delivering BHT services to clients.
Alagón brings deep expertise in brand measurement, data intelligence, strategic marketing and product development, built over more than 30 years, primarily at Kantar.
