People, communities and governments were blindsided by the pandemic, by the effects of lockdown, and how it would effect our lives. It has given us clarity on what humanity means, and how we connect with people.
And it looks likely that we’ll be blindsided by a pandemic-shaped recession. We are facing an economic crisis whilst still focusing on measures to overcome the disease, which is not something we have a ‘playbook’ for.

Over the last 4 months we have documented how the world changed. As people have sent us video footage from around the world, we’ve consulted experts about what this means, and tried to piece it all together to figure out what happens next.
