MORI Election Update: Accurate Final Polls
The results of the MORI/NOP exit poll were released at 10pm on Thursday 5 May. This is a prediction survey, designed to project the number of seats in the House of Commons, as well as the share of the vote for the main parties. It is based on exit interviews with more than 20,000 voters at 120 polling stations across the country. The poll data were sent to a group of academics commissioned by the broadcasters whose analysis resulted in the prediction of a 66 seat majority.
