Five Hours Of Media A Day For The Global Affluent
On average, the Global Affluent spends 301 minutes on media per day which adds up to 5 hours. They spend 2 hours on watching TV and 2 hours online. Nearly an hour a day is spent on reading print.
The Latin American Affluent consume the most media minutes by spending almost 6 hours of their day on media, followed by the Asia Affluent who spend over 5 and a half hours. The European elite spend the least time on media, but still consume media a little less than 5 hours a day.

The Average Issue Readership (AIR) of international print titles among the global elite is 30%*. The Asian Affluents spend the most time reading of all global Affluents. The Average Issue Readership of international titles is highest amongst the Affluents in Middle East (44%) and in Africa (40%)*.
Television
The Latin American Affluent accounts for the most TV minutes, by watching almost 2,5 hours a day. The Asian Affluent watches the least, but still watches almost 2 hours a day. 8 out of 10 Affluent consume international TV content on a weekly basis. This is even higher in the Middle East (89%) and Latin America (88%)*.
