Web-Session: Mobility behaviours and automotive purchase intentions in troubled times

Automotive Web-Session

Covid-19 is the latest disruption impacting the mobility and automotive industry. The outbreak of the virus and the crisis linked to it have quickly and significantly transformed the way consumers are behaving and viewing mobility.

During this web-session, we will share with you the latest data we have collected from our Global Mobility Navigator survey as well as our latest analysis on how consumers have adapted their behaviours to the crisis, what has already changed since March and what is sticking and likely to remain as a longer-term trend. In particular, we will deep-dive into consumers’ demand for cars and purchase intentions to give a sense of what the automotive industry can expect for the coming months.

China is the first Automotive market globally and also the first market to reopen after Covid-19. We will hear from our Ipsos experts about what has changed and what remains from the pre-pandemic times in China’s automotive markets; what are the new customers’ expectations and behaviours that have emerged recently and may be observed in other markets soon.

Speakers:

Alexandre de Saint-Léon, Global Leader of Ipsos Automotive & Mobility development
Jack Chiu, Head of Ipsos Automotive & Mobility development China

Moderator:

Alexandra Stein, Chief Client Officer Germany
