Ipsos's latest campaign tracker shows the NHS has overtaken Brexit as the most important issue for GB adults

On December 12th the UK will host the first December election since 1923. The Ipsos MPs Survey offers some clues on what issues will be top of mind for MPs post-election and in the new parliament.

Nearly two thirds of Britons mention Brexit as one of the biggest issues facing the country.

When asked which issues will be important in deciding how to vote the top two issues for GB adults are Brexit (55%) and the NHS (54%).

New Ipsos research shows that people in Britain have become less confident that the UK will continue to exist in its present form in the medium term.

The latest Ipsos Political Monitor shows that a third of the public (36%) think the British economy will be worse off than most other European countries compared with 23% who think it will be better off and 37% who think it will stay the same.

In the latest Ipsos poll, with fieldwork conducted before the election was called, the Conservatives have taken a 17-point lead over Labour, significantly improving on their position in September.

According to the latest Issues Index two thirds of Britons mention Brexit as one of the biggest issues facing the country.
