The pandemic has forced people to rethink their priorities and behaviours as they seek a more resilient and sustainable future. The 2021 Tetra Pak Index conducted in partnership with Ipsos explores shopper attitudes and action today when it comes to food, health and the environment.
Ipsos in Italy has completed a research study looking at the attractiveness of the country abroad. It comprised an online survey of the general public in 19 countries (N=500 per country, including 200 in higher socioeconomic grades. In addition, 40 interviews were conducted with international business leaders and a social listening exercise was carried out in three languages: English, French and Spanish.
More than half of the global population would rather exercise more and/or eat more healthily, but not diet as the actions they would take when trying to lose weight. But from a dietary perspective, sugar is seen as the main component that people would look to reduce or eliminate to help with weight loss.
