Ipsos Update – January 2025

Almanac, Predictions, Democracy … Ipsos Update explores the latest and research & thinking on key topics from Ipsos teams around the world.

Welcome to the first edition of Ipsos Update for 2025.

As we enter 2025 we take on a reflective mood and analyse what has been an eventful 2024. The widely received Ipsos Almanac takes us through the events, trends and surprises of the last 12 months and invites the finest experts from across the organisation to guide us on everything from elections, technology, assassination attempts, brands and Brat. Come, take a look.

As well as looking retrospectively, we also turn our attention to the future in the latest Predictions survey, where we ask the public in 33 countries how they feel the coming year will be for them, their family, and the economy. We ask them their thoughts on other issues too, like AI, the climate, and even aliens!

We hope you found 2024 as insightful as we did, we look forward to more exploration with you in the future.

Happy New Year!
