Seventy-one percent of the world feels climate change is as significant a threat as coronavirus in the long term. So, in the midst of this upheaval we ask what, if anything, can COVID-19 teach us about the climate crisis?

Mehr als zwei Drittel der Deutschen (69%) sind der Ansicht, dass der Klimawandel langfristig gesehen eine ebenso ernste Krise ist wie die gegenwärtige COVID-19-Pandemie. Nur jedem vierten Bundesbürger (24%) bereitet die Ausbreitung des Coronavirus auf lange Sicht größere Sorgen als die Klimakrise. Das ist das Ergebnis einer aktuellen Umfrage des Markt- und Meinungsforschungsunternehmens Ipsos, die vom 16. bis 19. April unter 28.000 Personen in 14 Ländern durchgeführt wurde.

Jeder zweite Deutsche (55%) glaubt nicht daran, dass sich die Wirtschaft nach Aufhebung des Lockdowns wegen der Coronavirus-Pandemie schnell erholen wird. Lediglich jeder Dritte (36%) sieht Chancen auf eine schnelle ökonomische Erholung, so das Ergebnis einer Umfrage des Markt- und Meinungsforschungsinstituts Ipsos, die vom 09. bis 12. April in 15 Ländern durchgeführt wurde.
