The average global economic assessment of national economies surveyed in 28 countries is down one point this wave with 47% of global citizens rating their national economies as ‘good’.
On March 21, 2018, elections in 335 municipalities in the Netherlands were held as well as a national consultative referendum on the Intelligence and Security Services Act. Ipsos conducted exit polls in six municipalities (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Enschede, Weert and Emmen) and a nationwide exit poll for the referendum vote. Based on our exit polls, we gave an indication of the election results and turnout, which was subsequently broadcast by the NOS on national television.
As you may know, today our country is enjoying the presence of one of the world's leading thinkers within marketing: Byron Sharp. (https://howbrandsgrowevent.nl/)
His book 'How brands grow' inspired us to take a critical look at his ideas and to explore how we can use his philosophy to enhance our methods and solutions.
Ipsos conducts exit polls during almost all elections. 2018, however, will be a special year, because on 21st of March we will be conducting (on behalf of the NOS) not one or two, but seven exit polls. Six of them concern the elections for the municipalities. Based on these exit polls, we are able to give an indication of the turnout and the results in the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Enschede, Weert and Emmen. The seventh exit poll concerns the referendum on the Wiv. This Referendum takes place on the same day as the elections for the municipalities.
