Lebanon Consumer Sentiment Index - April 2024
Results of the April 2024 Consumer Sentiment report released by Ipsos, reveal that the Lebanon Consumer Sentiment Index (LCSI) stands at 36.3.
Considering the current state of the economy, 7 in 10 indicate that the economy is weak, while 38% express a similar sentiment regarding their personal financial situation.
When it comes to worries, the public in Lebanon perceives healthcare (43%) to be a top concern in the country, surpassing unemployment (40%) and worries about poverty (40%).
Looking ahead to the coming six months, 1 in 4 believe the future state of the economy will be strong and 38% anticipate a stronger personal financial situation. Additionally, 34% have a positive outlook and express confidence in their ability to invest for the future.
